Best Buddies

Since we moved into our home four years ago Ben and Rex have always shared a room while Drew has slept in the room next to them. In the past months that all changed! (may have had something to do with Drew seeing a movie that scared him pretty badly, Goosebumps)Well, the movie scared Drew to the point that Drew started refusing to sleep alone. Each night Drew would make his way up to our room at some point in the night and crawl into bed with us. After a couple weeks that didn't quite cut it either, he wanted someone to fall asleep with him in his room. We decided an easy solution to that was to tuck Ben into the extra twin bed in Drew's room, which worked wonders! Before long, I would find myself tucking these two into their own twin beds at night only to end up finding them snuggled together in the same bed each morning. One thing about Ben is he is such a little nurturer. Each night during the night Drew would wake up and Ben would crawl into bed with him and make sure he was ok. My heart would seriously melt finding these two cuddled together each morning. 
....Now-a-days we just skip over even tucking them into their own beds, and just start them off together crammed into one little twin bed, not a lot of wiggle room, but that's what they prefer. And hey it's a win, win... one less bed to make in the morning : ) Love that these boys have each others back and are there for one another. Sweet things like this are truly the best!
