Today was the perfect introduction to summer! A very sweet friend of mine planned an absolutely beautiful doll party for this lucky group of girls. Everything looked like it was from a magazine! From the beautiful food, (which consisted of cucumber sandwiches with homemade bread, berries, lemonade, and chocolate dipped strawberries) to the decor and garden. The girls loved making hats and were even taught how to embroider their names on bookmarks. Darling purses were made for each of them with their names stitched along the ruffles. In each purse there were buttons that they were able to use to "buy" little barretts, painted boxes, treats, and bracelets for themselves and their dolls. The weather was gorgeous and we enjoyed a lovely afternoon out on the green grass! Somehow four hour seemed to pass by all to quickly! Thanks Vanessa for such a great party! How lucky I am to have such wonderful friends!!!
