We spent our afternoon today picking out our Christmas tree! The weather was just right and the boys were excited to get their hands on a saw and help chop down a good one! We happened to hear about a local Christmas tree farm that ended up being right in Kari and Erics neighborhood. It was such a beautiful area and we were happy to bring home our favorite Christmas tree as of yet!

(hoping we can get it to stand up, unlike last years tree! )

 

 

 

We found our tree, the boys were excited to "help" chop it down, which ended up being harder than they thought it would be!

 

 

These little starting Christmas trees were planted three years ago, the tree we chose was planted for 8 years... so, when we go back in 5 years, these will be the ones that will be ready to go!

 

 

 

drew was pretty excited about the horses as well! By the time we left all the horses had been given names.
