Kinley found out the exciting news that she was going to advance to Pointe in September. It wasn't until last week though, that she was fitted for her pointe shoes. I had no idea just what a big deal this was going to be! I'm pretty sure KK counted down every. single. day. until she actually had those pointe shoes on her feet. Kinley had a sleepover the night before the official fitting with a couple of her dance friends who were also going to be fitted the next day. Their giddiness was contagious! They were smiles and giggles, all night! Even the thought of sore feet, lots of blisters, and perhaps lost toes nails ( all of which their teachers told them to expect) made them excited!
Kinley pretty much dances wherever she goes- through the kitchen, in the car, in parking lots, at recess... It's so fun to watch her do something she loves so much! Way to go Cakes!!!!
KK and Katerie were all about doing their fitting together.
