Last weekend Keith was away at a campout with the Scouts in the San Juan Islands....When he came back he brought some fresh crab along with a story that had me grateful he had survived his trip! The thought of my husband being stranded in the ocean during a huge storm in a turned over kayak all alone was quite frightening! Thankfully a sailboat happened to spot him after he had been in the cold ocean water for quite some time! I was extremely happy my husband was home safe! Lets just say I'm sure that's one campout they'll never forget!
While unpacking his campout gear we came across a loaf of bread that smelt more like the ocean than bread and so we decided it was better off feeding to the ducks... so that's just what we did. Drew found it was pretty fun to feed Nanas dog Ellie as well!

Over labor day we decided to spend one last night at Semiahmoo before the school year started...One last hoorah!

When the kids realized the tide was out first thing in the morning, they pretty much jumped out of bed, threw their boots on, and ran out to see what they could find.
