Last weekend we were able to get away for a little overnighter at Semiahmoo. It was quick, but just what we needed for a little rest and relaxation. As you can see, its a pretty relaxing cozy little getaway! The sun shined the entire time we were there- it was warm and amazing! Keith and I went on a walk while the kids were playing on the beach and we came across the coolest little beach fort made out of logs/shells/rope... we brought the kids back and told them we had built it just for them! They were totally impressed with our skills for like 5 seconds until they realized there was no possible way that we could have done it :) After a morning at the beach we spent the rest of the afternoon playing volleyball (where tays practiced her overhand serve for hours with the help of dads you tube teaching videos), tennis, basketball, and bocci. On our way home I turned around to see over half of our kids asleep. That NEVER happens! They must have had fun!
