KK update

KK is so excited for summer, mostly because summer will  mean more free time to spend with her "girls". KK lets the guilt set in if she lets too much time go by without spending quality time with MaryLynn, Alexandria, and Julie. (her american girls). Seriously this girl is going to be an amazing mother one day! You should see the treatment these girls get, one night last week they were all in her bed and she was on the floor in her sleeping bag ( hmm, maybe she gets this from her grammy... shell shann stac what do ya think??)Anyway we had no school on Friday so KK and I decided to bake ginger molasses cookies, which we've been talking about doing forever! It just took us so long to actually do it because there is absolutely no chocolate in them, but we did end up making them and they ended up delicious. Problem was though, molassas cookies stick around alot longer than chocolate chip cookies do and I ended up eating way too many.... but anyway KK was excited about baking because her girls could join in, aprons and all! It was a win win. I got to spend some one on one time with my girl and she got to spend some time with hers! KK still loves to be in the kitchen and is the one who is always asking what she can do to help with dinner! I love it!
KK also continues to LOVE dance! She had her last competition today and her team did great, they came in second, she was thrilled to come home with a big "pink diamond"! KK is taking jazz, ballet, and tumbling but constantly tells me she wants to take more. When she has free time she is either making up dances in the family room or practicing her tumbling in the grass. It's fun to see her love doing something so much!
We're proud of KK and grateful for her nurturing fun personality! She keeps things lively around here that's for sure!
