Today we dropped Keith off at the airport for a business trip....it was almost too much for Tayler to take! She did ok until we pulled up to the curb and it was time for Keith to jump out and grab his bags... then her h e a r t BROKE! If you know Tayler at all you know that she is a DADDY'S GIRL! She tried as hard as she could to hold tight to his shirt until he didn't have a choice but to say his final good bye. She sobbed the whole way home... (and long after we got home too, until Rex decided to join in with her)!! I tried to console her... "Tayler he will call us as soon as he lands, that's only two hours away." She replied with "That's 120 minutes too long!!!" She then explained how concerned she was that her daddy would be on the plane without us and that he might get lonely! SO

what a sweet girl! Keith must be such a great dad for her to react like that! Kk and rex dressing up is hilarious! What a cute suit, by the way!
KK puts the rest of us t-shirt/flip-flop wearing moms to shame! And poor Tayler...what will she do? She looks so sad. Good thing you have such a fun week planned! Have fun at the theater!
I got teary reading this...I can SO relate. This is Blake every week on the way home from the airport! It is so hard on kid's, they don't understand...and unlike us, a week to them is an eternity! Hang in there!
By the way, I passed you coming out of the airport last night! We were heading into the terminal when you were just heading out!
This just breaks my heart. It is such a hard and sweet thing to witness such real emotion in your children. Thankfully she has a wonderful mommy to give her all the comfort she needs.
